Big Girl!!

We had the opportunity to visit my brother-in-law and his wife this past weekend in North Carolina. But probably the best part of the weekend was seeing our niece, Hannah!! :) She is getting so big and actually turned 6 months old yesterday - I can't believe how quickly time has flown by! Here are some pictures that they had taken of her at Sears...

Sears was definitely NOT the best experience. Corey & Danielle had made an appointment for 11:00am, but when we showed up there were 2 other groups in front of us. Apparently an appointment doesn't mean anything in that place!! So finally at 12:00pm - exactly 1 hour after the original appointment time - Hannah was finally able to get her picture taken. Danielle was really afraid that our window of "smile time" had closed... but thankfully she had a few more in her! :)

Nuevo Vallarta (Part 2)

Here they are, folks!! These are just a couple shots from our vacation in Mexico with my family. We had an amazing time and it was tough to come back to the cold weather. Enjoy!

Here is the lobby - these statues are probably 60 ft. tall!

The lazy river... my favorite place!

Nuevo Vallarta (Part 1)

We're leaving for Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico this Saturday morning!!!!!! I cannot WAIT to go on this trip. Every February my family takes a vacation somewhere outside the US, and they are more than generous for inviting us along :) Here's a couple pictures of The Grand Mayan, the resort where we'll be staying. This will be our 2nd visit to this hotel and we're pumped to be returning. Here's why...

Where we'll be eating breakfast each morning... by the pool!

18 wins... but 1 GIANT loss :)

The Giants did it - they are Superbowl champions!!! Last night's game was one of the best Superbowls in a long time. Good friends, good food, GREAT football :) Even Tom Petty didn't disappoint during the halftime show. After an entire season of enduring the arrogant Patriots and their "perfect" record, someone has finally shut them up! The Giants' defense was unstoppable and Eli Manning was great under pressure. What an awesome start to the week and a happy ending to this history-making football season! :)
